今を生きるアーティストとして、世界の動向や取り巻く感覚を読んだ後で自分の道を決めるなら、私には未来の人々に送るメッセージはない。だとすると、毎日朝から午後までやっているテレビのワイドショーのMCやコメンテーターのいうことを信じる視聴者と同じになってしまう。
1990年に東西冷戦が終わり、世界はグローバル化されるといわれた。日本は人口１億の小さな国だけれども、経済的には豊かである。もし、世界が経済的に平均化をするのであれば、日本人の生活水準を下げる必要が出てくる。
世界が一つになることを想像した多くの人がいると思う。しかし、その後、ユーゴスラビアやソマリア、近隣国の間で血で血を洗う武力紛争が起こった。そして、シリア内戦がIS誕生を促した。世界が一つになるという幻想は終わり、ナショナルファーストや、オンリーとよばれる精神が自立をした。
確かに、私たち人間は個人の欲望を満たす権利はあるが、我々の地球の資源には限りがあるので、それぞれの欲求と主張があまりにも行き過ぎれば、文化や宗教、民族、性の各地域間の壁はより高くなる。そして、不寛容の精神がお互いを蝕むだろう。私は、そこでアートが役に立つのかを考えた、が何もない。私は無力感にとらわれ続けた。
こうして、困難を感じていたところに、直島のアートがとても元気だ、と聞いたのだった。
インターネットで調べたところ、安藤忠雄設計の地中美術館の入場チケットは日時指定で予約が必要。休日は数日前に売り切れてしまうのだ。
私は、他のものが食べたくても、レストランで数限定メニューがあるととても弱い。重い腰をあげて、行くことにした。
お出迎えは草間彌生のかぼちゃ。中身をくりぬいた公園遊具のようなテクスチャーはコンクリート。スマホで彼女が穴から覗いたところを彼氏がパシャ。アートは若い二人を活気付けていました。なるほど。

I cannot send a message to future people if I decide my way after having read tendency and a sense in the world as an artist as of now. It was said that the cold war between the East and the West put an end in 1990 and the world globalized. Though inhabitants are 100 million people of the small country, Japan is a country rich economically. If the world does the world economy on the average, it is necessary to take down each standard of living of Japanese.
I think that there are many people who imagined the future when the world becomes one. However, a military dispute to wash the blood with blood between neighboring countries in Yugoslavia or Somalia happened afterwards. And it leads to the IS birth in the civil war in Syria. It ends in a fantasy that the world becomes one, and mind called the National first and the only stands on their own feet.
Surely we human beings have a right to satisfy a personal desire, However if we go too far with each personal desire and claim because we limited to resources on the earth, the walls of each aria difference of the culture and the religion and the race and the gender become higher. And non-tolerant mind will undermine each other. I thought about whether art is helpful there ,but the art is useless. I continue being seized with a feeling of ineffectualness.
I whom I felt uneasy about in this way heard an art in Naoshima is very fine.

Though I wanted to eat others,I am strongly fascinated with the number-limited sale dish of restaurant. I get up (from sitting) and decided to go to Naoshima.
